If you’ve ever wanted to not be financially tied to your operating system, unlike Windows, Ubuntu Linux is free to install and use. There are even Long Term Support releases (LTS). I have been using Ubuntu on my machines for years. It’s very usable for even the novice. It’s also customizable in many ways, and the web community is large if you need a question answered.
In addition to a bootable LiveCD, where you can check it out on your machine without installing, it can also be installed in such a way as to be in a ‘dual-boot’ scenario where you can choose which operating system to boot into when your computer starts. There are tons of quality free applications for almost anything.
Just trying to make some side money providing a service that I can perform well. I know computers, and I have spent a a large number of years building, tweaking, overclocking, fixing, and optimizing PC’s.
